I can see a banner at the top ! :D

Before that - the beach was pretty great! Didn't swim but walked along the forest, the river, the marsh and then the beach. I slept all arvo after I got home and now am watching the moon rise :D Spectacular day.

What made you happy today? What happened during today's happy spaces in you world?

House cleaning :D And I don't mean cleaning the inside. I had not realised how dusty the house had got. I guess its one of those things that you don't notice until you get some distance from it, like a kid growing. It was the perfect time too. Just after this moon business, the negative stuff can be dragged off my place and into the universe :)

My garden soil is looking alive again. A little sunflower seedling has popped its head up. The lettuce is ready to eat. The rabbits are demanding pats now. BBL!

I know it shouldn’t, but it still blows my mind that it’s summer for you lol

I woke up to a white out, and luckily since I am sick, I had the day off so I could just enjoy it and not stress over it.

Yeah it is weird, I can't imagine anyone is cold! Big planet, small world ;) I am noticing the days getting shorter and thinking "how am I going to fit everything in with so little daylight!?!?"
Hope you feel better soon.

Today was a lazy one for me, had a nice day rotating between reading, napping and patting bunnies (although skimped on that a bit, they'll bug me for loves later as it is). I made a chicken and kale pie and am waiting for it to cook while watching DS9. Nice easy rhythm for today. I might still have time to water the yard before the sun goes down. I got sunburnt at this time yesterday!

Winter really is the season to be lazy. I am only just now starting to get back into an active groove. I took myself up to the mountain look out today, and watched the storm roll in. The whole lot had a fire go through it last year - a controlled burn that got out of control, but its all regenerating nicely. The clouds came over and the mountains disappeared. I couldn't even see them at all on the drive home. Some days it is so clear it takes your breath away, today was not one of them. It has been pelting down ever since, which I am thankful for as the garden needs it. Saves me filling up the duck pond too!

The buns got grocery shop greens instead of garden noms and the difference in their energy is noticeable. Xander was being a pest, then got a tummy ache and layed down in Anyas litter box, now he is trying to dig through the fence even though he has full house freedom. Anya had been chasing him so I separated them and all he wants is to get back in with her. He tells me it is to cuddle, but I know his mischief mood and I bet he will try hump her. She looks so peaceful curled up in his pen in front of the fire. I restocked the pantry and its really hard not to binge on the spam and cheese.

I guess no one else gets this Oarsome song in their head while unpacking the tinned fruit ay?

I'm still moving things around and getting more shelves and things in, but I'm finally starting to get the flat sorted as I want it.

I went for a drive tonight. I really like the drive at night, its much easier than in the blazing sun. A few roos and a HEAP of cats. I went to pick up some greens from the bay (the ducklings ate all of my sunflowers!!) and the toilet paper isle was completely empty. I saw a couple of teenage boys with a trolly full of tissue boxes and a bunch of old men leaving with kitchen roll. For once, OCD has been a blessing. I have a cupboard full of toilet paper, accumulated before the coronavirus started. I should say, we have only had ONE confirmed case in my state, but the panic buying is real. I am pretty sure the asian check out chicks were coughing just to add to the panic :p

I grabbed maccas and went out to the ocean lookout to eat it. The songs on the radio at the time were perfect, so funny and fitting. Went for a little walk and stretching overlooking the sound, then hopped back in the car to come home again. I had so much energy from the caramel frappe, I cleaned the buns run and layed new blankets out for them. They LOVE fresh fluffy clean blankets, they are being so cute and so thankful. I have new beds coming for them next week and I cant wait to see what Anya thinks of them. Xander just loves everything all the time always so I know he'll love his.

There is some distant thunder but I dont think we will be lucky enough for rain. It's pretty late here (I got hooked on Bull) so I hope I wake up early enough in the morning to water the garden! The pears are just about ready. I had more apples this year than I knew what to do with. I dropped a bag at the pub and at the neighbours. The birds got most of the nashis. I gotta get rid of the ducks. All 10 babies survived and they are almost full grown. I do not have the space for that many ducks!

Drove down to the coast today. It was spectacular. A rainbow followed me home and was over my town as I got in

Such is its popularity that in every state and territory of Australia you can find Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) centres – made moderately affordable to non-aristocratic disabled people through government subsidies. Owing to both ubiquity and these subsidies, I’ve found that Australian adults with a disability are nearly as likely to have grown up horse riding as Australian adults who were child actors on The Saddle Club. Which is to say, quite likely.

Loved this. Its always para and special olympians in the news, rarely the riders that made up the bulk of the program. I do not miss the work culture and heavy volunteer workload, but I do miss the lovely horses and the riders.

I wouldnt go back. If I could, I'd make my own program (which are everywhere in the state right now so not viable from a business perspective) but I did love the horse training and coaching and seeing riders progress as capable horse people. I miss that bit.

You've never really seen the stars, until you've seen them in outback Australia during a total lunar eclipse. Just spectacular. Buzzing with joy now.

I just took Lilah into the pub to drop off some limes and she was an angel. Im so proud of her! I've never walked her across the highway in light rain carrying a huge bag of fruit before. It was a test for both of us! Me for co-ordinaton more than anything lol. There were lots of cars, and a few people and I had her on a different lead than I use for morning walkies, so it was all very new and different.

She did SO good! Didnt bark at any men. I dissociated a bit when I was in the pub, my mind left me and I kept getting confused in conversation, but as soon as we got outside again I was grounded like a ton of bricks when Lilah was looking to me where to go next. She showed off her perfect heel past the old ladies in the cafe and back across the highway to home.

We played some tug and chasey in the yard and now she is using my leg as a pillow in front of the fire.
