Are you working on any hobby, craft, story or project right now?

I have been making some rugs. Can't say I am all that good at it yet but I think I do ok from a bag of rags! Its mothers day in Oz this weekend so I would like to make a good one to send to mum.

Have you got anything on the go?

Well, I haven't actually started yet.
But I think my next project will be an Apple TV app.

Have this rather simple Poker Solitaire game that I've made in several formats.
Most recent for iOS (iPhone/iPad) and AppleWatch.

I see it as a user interface challenge.
Manage to make the same app working for all kind of sizes and controls.
From the small watch screen to the big TV screen. Touchscreens to remote controls etc.

Always found it interesting to test different programming languages, different platforms etc.

I finally got my butt into gear and did the duck pen today. I can reclaim my patio. I think I will try a miniature moss garden next - if I have all the bits I need. Moss hasn't started growing here yet but it can't be far off!

I'm going to really make a start on Christmas presents soon, I like to try to give some homemade ones, and I have plenty of supplies here.

I have been crocheting baby hats to donate to local pregnancy centers, though not much time of late with Little League in full swing and PTO duties. I have been mostly working on our house - painting, new deck, new front porch, new flower beds, new patio. So house painting is as creative as I am getting, for the most part.

Its never ending isn't it! Today was quarter round in the hope of keeping the cold (and snakes) out. I painted the deck a few weeks ago - the gate is next.

I want to finish at least one little cross stitch tonight.

Arranging the bunnies play things is an art in itself too!

I love cross stitch!

I want to learn The OA dance. The moves seem super good for loosening up the back and breathing. I only have the first down pat so far. Long way to go haha.

I just got some cross stitch from my sis to occupy me in my down time. Not really a motive I like but, it keeps me busy :)

Well my wool is too thick to use on the loom I planned to use it on, so it's going to be smaller than I thought, and it's still not easy to do on this one, so it's probably going to take longer than I planned too.

I like this thread, cos most stuff I have posted I have actually completed! Even my moss garden is growing, although I havent done much with it. The quarter round made such a HUGE difference this winter. It was much, much warmer in the house without the wind blowing through it :) The patio and gate still look freshly painted even after all the rain. I made 3 rugs and used them on the floor. Mum didnt like the one I made her but I wouldnt let her give it to the dog (cos of the threads) so I put it in my entry hall. the rosemary is all dried, hanging in the laundry. I finished one cross stitch but duno where I put it... I still have another on the go.

The OA dance is still a work in progress - its hard to learn in a full time from an instagram vid! I put it on the tv most nights but end up doing it backwards, mirroring. I am used to learning choreography in front of an actual mirror too, so its tough to do in my lounge room! I might see if I can pick up a couple wall mirrors, I'd love to set them up on the back patio. I have been out of my dance groove for a while and need it back. The mirrors will help me notice my position better.

A couple from church dropped off some firewood for me today as well as some sheet music (finally!) :D So I am trying to learn a few songs on the keyboard. I am surprised that my singing isnt as out of tune as I had feared :) Learning an instrument is so much easier with youtube!!

I am so happy!!! My Dad visited for fathers day and brought my clarinet down from the city :D I've been looking for it for years - he found it at his house. I am thrilled! I can already play my favourite hymn :D

I forgot how much I enjoyed music, the meds just cut me off from God completely and I couldnt connect to the beauty in anything. Now I seem to be growing those connections back... very slowly. Plus, I taught myself the OA theme from ear on the piano! I didnt know I could do that!

Music really is soothing for the soul! Next goal - play for an audience!

I've been doing a jigsaw, I was hoping to get it finished during this lockdown, but it's not easy. It's 1000 pieces of Leonardo's Last Supper.

I have been crocheting. Covering old pillows to use as cushions for the couch. Only one left. And then I will actually have to clean the couch to display them nicely. I have also stated another crochet project, with the same stich and I am not sure what I will do with it yet. At first I thought a pinafore type thing to go over my linen dress so that I dont wreak it in the garden, but I am using cheap acrylic which will be hot in the heat, so maybe its better to make another poncho for next winter instead.

Still going with music, I tend to get the instruments out and play hard until I get too sore to play anymore and they go away until the next mood hits. I havent played my guitar much, maybe 12 times since I got it, its a bit boring really. Keyboard is fun and I wish I had one as a kid, it would have REALLY helped in school. I'm not as good at sight reading bass clef yet, more practice needed. Treble is fine, and I can play pretty much any music put in front of me. For fun, I mostly stick to the easy keys because the clarinet is like 70 years old and some of the less used notes stick on the instrument. Now I want to see if I can play the finale song on keyboard.
- this one -

It sounds pretty easy to replicate, but I doubt I will plug the keyboard back in until I get the chores around the house done - otherwise nothing else will get done! I have to fix the toilet, its leaking all over the floor. And then fix the frame over the fruit trees and net them, if there is any fruit left by then! Bloody ringnecks (parrots), I'm ready to ring their necks. I don't think there are any nashis left :( I pulled out the book case the other day to seal the gap between the wall and floor behind the tv cabinet, that really took it out of me and the bookcase is still in the middle of the kitchen.

I got a new exercise mat for the dancing and stretching. Its really huge, but the smaller sizes were out of stock when I got my stimulus money, so I go the biggest one available. I LOVE it but had to put it away to do the repairs to the ceiling and while the bunnies are moulting I had to vacuum every day. Now it is bloody hot and if I have it out I cant close the hall doors and the air con will have to work harder. Again, its one of those things, if I get it out I will play on it too much and not get anything else in the house done, and I really need to get some of these chores done!

Ok next goal, I want to do a forward roll on my bouncy mat :D I did one a couple months ago when I was full of dutch courage and didn't die, but I am just too wimpy to try another yet. It's embarrassing, because I used to flip and tumble all over the place as a kid, now I am an oldie and I wont even do a forward roll on an air mat! It's only been a few years since I did cartwheels at the pinnacles, and less than two years since I last tumbled down at the bay, but my body has worn down a lot since then and I have far more weight to maneuver. Excuses excuses.

I want to get back into crafting, went on a crochet course the other evening, but I only have the evenings to do things and I'm usually too tired by then to want to start something. Lego is really easy so I don't mind doing that, I put a film on in the background and just get on with it, I just need something crafty as easy as that! I know people that can do it with crochet or knitting, but that's not me!

However I am working on learning to cook more.
